Opportunities in EY for Associate - Language Specialist - Assurance
The role of Assurance Staff is to carry out routine substantive and
controls-based audit testing for the Assurance SSLs multinational
clients. Clients are primarily based in the UK and the US. Key
challenges for the role are to provide high quality results to the
onshore team, often to a tight deadline.
Be the point of contact for GTH to coordinate with onshore teams in
France/Germany.
Translate financial information into English, and help the team in
understanding the on shore requirements and raise issues if any.
Other Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic
analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the SSL
Audit Senior/Audit Manager.
Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit
procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, onshore teams Work
step allocation, and planned audit approach.
Challenge procedures used in the past by Onshore and SSL audit teams
and attempt to enhance audit techniques.
Compare efficiency of audit procedures performed across different
clients and suggest ideas for improvement.
Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication
when dealing with the Onshore audit team.
Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to Onshore client team
requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with
Onshore team contacts.
Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to
the client's business.
Develop SSL people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership.
Collaborate with SSL and Onshore team members to set goals and responsibilities.
Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to
other team members' views.
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team
members, and enhance service delivery.
Bring potential opportunities for extending the work performed by the
SSL to the SSL and Onshore team's attention.
We are looking for candidates with commerce background Bcom/BBM/MBA
in finance, with good understanding of accounting concepts.
Good with communicating in French/German Language
